Dear Parents,

To cultivate strong leaders, our school actively partners with universities and academies in the country and abroad, offering a diverse range of programs that enhance student leadership skills.

The SOI office has the pleasure to inform you that your child has the opportunity to participate in one of the “LAU Model Programs (MUN, MEU)” for this year. This contest develops our youth skills (critical thinking, problems solving team work, negotiate, public speaking …) and give them the opportunity to become “the next leaders in their society”.

Two training sessions as well as a MOCK and final conferences are going to take place at LAU Beirut or Byblos. Participants will be under the chaperon of three advisors who will be training and coaching them during all the program.

LAU schedule program will be as follow:

Winners will benefit from:

International Mock: A special selection for winners of Awards 1 & 2 to earn a funded trip to LAU’s Model UN in New York

Cultural Mixer: A lively LAUSM social event showcasing each delegation’s culture and talents combining cultural displays with a talent show.

Award Opportunities: Top performing delegates may be invited to join LAU Summer Camps and activities to further develop their skills.

Scholarships & Rising Star Award:

Rising Star Award: Honors outstanding promise and leadership, with 1 award each in memory of Nour Chidiac and Cindy Najem.

Scholarships: 30% (Best delegates) or 15% (Diplomacy) off LAU undergraduate tuition for high-school winners of these awards.

Kindly note that before each session a meeting will be held at the school for “preparation and coaching”. Convenient dates will be fixed with the advisors for each program.
Registration should be made by the student at the SOI office before Saturday October 13, 2025.

Participation fees: $230/student (MUN and MEU) payment should be done before Wednesday October 15, 2025.

Fees cover:

1. LAU registration fees
2. Transportation (Beirut and Byblos)
3. Advisor’s coaching fees
4. Advisor’s follow-up and content proofing

 Awards will be given to the winners and certificates will be distributed to all participants.
